50 Days of Service
Waldorf College's unique 50 Days of Service connects the Waldorf community with service opportunities both close to home and far away.
The project began in the spring of 2006 over a 50-day period -- more than 50 projects were completed in that short time span. In 2007, another 50-day period saw over 50 projects occur. In 2008, a decision was made to make the 50 Days of Service last the entire year so all groups and teams across campus could participate.

3K3 Walk/Run/Wag
Tues., April 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
This 9K (5.58 miles) event incorporates three optional loops, each 3K in length, marked for walkers, runners and “waggers” (pets). Individuals may choose to do just one, two, or all three loops. The event is cleverly named 3K3 to represent the three organizers of the event, all named Kristi. Kristi Carlson is professor of art and director of the Waldorf College art gallery, Kristi Leonard is professor of wellness and director of the wellness center and Kristi Osheim serves as administrative assistant to the athletic department as well as secretary-treasurer of the Waldorf Warriors Booster Club.
The cost of the event is $10 for students of any age and $15 for other adult participants, which includes a 3K3 sport bag if registered by March 30. All proceeds from the event will benefit the local Relay for Life chapter/American Cancer Society with cash donations also accepted. For questions, please call 641-585-8182.
